Stef share's about why her family loves StoneBridge, “It’s full of normal people,” Stef says. “It’s a church of everyday people.”

Legacy Series - Kelly & Bruce Wilson

Kelly Wilson is the feature in this week’s StoneBridge Legacy Story. The feelings of being part of a family and being genuinely welcomed hooked the Wilsons immediately.

Legacy Series - David LaDay

Our latest StoneBridge Legacy Story is all about David Laday, a 12-year member and one of our elders. David says he loves the people and the authenticity here. From the beginning, he was also impacted by the fact that StoneBridge lives its mission.

“I’ve been part of a lot of organizations,” he says. “But I haven’t been a part of any other organization that truly uses its mission statement to drive every decision we make from top to bottom. If it fits that vision, we do it. If it doesn’t fit, we don’t. So that’s really cool.

“We’re real people; we recognize we have real problems/issues everybody deals with,” he says.

Legacy Series - Nancy Humphrey

Nancy Humphrey, has been a member since we had only 13 members. Nancy says she loves the caring and the camaraderie she’s found in her years at StoneBridge.

“You have your own little groups, but there’s always someone there if you need them. I’m fortunate to be in a group where we’re all widows except for two of us--so we have commonalities.

“I think that people that choose other groups have to find that commonality so they can help each other and understand each other.”

Spreading Hope and the Gospel with the Mid India Christian Mission

Last fall (2019), StoneBridge Church embarked on a mission to help the Mid India Christian Mission plant 10 churches in central and northern India. In April, we sent a group of 7 to India to meet with MICM and visit some of the new churches.

Although India is a spiritually dark country, our team witnessed the inspiring hope that Jesus has brought to the Christians who live and serve there. “It was a complete perspective change on my worldview. We experienced the full range of human emotion and civilization in one trip,” says Kristi Bebermeyer, who traveled to India with the group.
